Bathroom Conversions for Derek Wright
Derek's bathroom and en-suite had suffered considerable water damage due to faulty shower valves, and therefore needed to be completely stripped down to below joist level.
New wall plates, joists and stud walls were marked out and constructed, giving a larger en-suite. A new level floor was fitted, all walls reboarded and skimmed, and both rooms benefited from new plastic ceilings and chrome light fittings.
The en-suite was fitted with travertine to both walls and floor, whilst the bathroom was fitted in large-format porcelain tiles fixed in a brick bond formation. The floor was tiled in a matching floor tile.
The hall was laid with large-format Portuguese limestone tiles throughout, and the conservatory was fitted with Karndean. The guest w/c was refurbished using porcelain tiles on the walls and plastic ceiling with chrome light fittings, and the utility room received limestone walls and floor.
