What our customers say
Frank Johnston, Shotley Bridge:
“After our new kitchen was fitted we wanted a floor that complemented and added to the feel of this special room. Paul advised us on all the floor options available and once we had chosen, samples were provided to help narrow down to the exact colour and texture to match our kitchen units. The service before fitting, during fitting and after completion has been exceptional, the professional attitude and workmanship splendid. I would recommend Paul Coyle to anyone.”July 2008
Mrs Dixon, Consett:
“Paul and Neil's thorough planning, preparation and attention to detail has restored my faith in workmen. They discussed my floor at length and patiently helped me to plan the colour and design choice to ensure it met with my needs and wishes. I now have a perfect floor that sets off my kitchen so well that the whole room looks like a showroom, without the showroom price.”May 2008
Alistair Seccombe, Derwent Garden Village, Consett:
“My bathroom had previously suffered significant water damage and Paul Coyle and colleague Stephen Eglon were my chosen contractors to carry out the repairs. Aware of the calibre of both men, I now have a bathroom which is fit for purpose, with a stable bath and tanking (waterproofing) kit to the shower. After seeing some of the stunning bathrooms Paul has already tiled in large-format travertine, I opted for the same material for walls and floor. He didn't disappoint, producing a handsome brick bond pattern and even incorporating a cleverly-angled travertine shelf at the foot of the bath to allow splashes to drain harmlessly away.”May 2008

Ray Convery, Leadgate:
“We're relieved that we invested in quality materials and workmanship for our bathroom. We chose natural stone (travertine) and together with Paul we designed mosaic columns. Paul fitted stone profiles around door casings to act as architraving, and now our bathroom is our favourite room in the house!”Feb 2008
Richard and Barbara Painter, Redgate Hall, Wolsingham:
“We were both delighted with the quality of Paul Coyle's tiling. Considering the historical character of our Victorian home, a well-considered brief seemed crucial. As it transpired Paul made a daunting-looking task appear quite easy!He developed the actual designs himself after listening carefully to what we wished to achieve and the products we preferred. He then recommended the designs, always improving on our initial thoughts, giving a great finished product. Paul's attention to detail was second to none.
With an old house refurbishment there are always unexpected difficulties as nothing is straight or level, but Paul overcame all that was thrown at him! The en-suite was particularly difficult, but Paul dealt with unexpected problems, worked with as little disturbance as possible to the rest of the house, and was respectful of the premises (unlike certain other trades!!). He delivered a first class finished product and every time we use the rooms we appreciate the quality of his workmanship.” To read more about Paul's work at Redgate Hall click here >Jan 2008

Richard and Gill Johnson, Bath Terrace, Gosforth:
“We are absolutely thrilled with the finished kitchen floor. It has transformed the kitchen, not only in the way it looks (which is a huge improvement) but also the level of comfort, thanks to the under-floor heating. Everyone, without exception, who has seen the finished kitchen has remarked first of all on the quality of the tiles and the excellent standard of fitting. In addition to this we're very grateful that you managed to fit us in at short notice, giving up personal time in order to finish the tiling and so allow the rest of the work on the kitchen to progress.”Jan 2008
Karen Little, The Big Optician, Newcastle:
“Paul and Neil have created such a beautiful, practical Handcrafted Karndean floor for us that we’re having them back to do our examination room and stairs. Their knowledge and skill is necessary to ensure a safe solution in areas of our premises which require high levels of practicality - where patients’ eyesight and therefore co-ordination might in some cases be compromised.”Nov 2007
